In the town of Homún on Calle 8 is the Yaxbacaltun Cenote, you have to advance about 500 meters until you reach the inn, the road is dirt so take your time to get to the place.

When you arrive at the parador, the staff will greet you, telling you the instructions and rules of the place. You will instantly see a rest area with hammocks and a table around it for those who want to bring their food. They also have two cabins that you can rent if you want to spend the night. In this place, you will immediately see the bathrooms where you can change before entering the cenote.

It is an open cenote approximately 45 meters wide, however the water is about 27 meters deep so its caretakers have fenced it with wire so that no accidents occur. The tones of the water are blue and crystalline, you can see small catfish swimming all over the place, the beautiful stalactites that hang and adorn the dome, which you can appreciate carefully.
