In Mayan it means “Yellow fruit from the tree”, it is located in the small town of Mukuyche, you can get there by taking the road from Mérida–Uxmal, then continue along the road that leads to Muna until you reach the detour to Abalá, from there continue until you find the town of Mukuyche.
It is one of the largest underground caverns with 90 meters in diameter. In order to touch its fresh waters, you have to descend a 15-meter metal ladder. As you enter, the adventure becomes more exciting.
