Extraordinary natural formation, where tourists delight in the stone whims located in the Yucatan Peninsula. Dzalbay is a town where its inhabitants have settled for many years in the eastern region of the city of Valladolid. The Cenote Sac-Aua is different from the other cenotes since it has an island in its central part surrounded by crystal clear water.

When you arrive at the place, your caretakers will greet you in a palapa that functions as a restaurant. They will direct you along a white dirt road path very well defined between the mountains, welcoming you and making you enjoy the experience. You can rent a bicycle if you want to get there quickly since you have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the place. Before reaching the entrance to the cenote, you will be amazed by its watering cans decorated with images of cactus, snakes and corn, something you will not see anywhere else.

When the white road ends then you will see a huge hole in the ground with a wooden railing that helps avoid accidents, if you go to the left you will see the wooden stairs in a staggered manner that will take you down to the island of soft sand where there are plants living in it.

The entire part of the mainland of the Cenote Sac-Aua is protected by stones to prevent it from mixing with the water and keeping it crystal clear.
