It means “Old Town” It is located just 17 kilometers north of Mérida ,It is considered one of the largest and deepest cenotes found to date in Yucatan. In this cenote a large number of wooden vestiges, vessels and carved bones have been found, which have provided a lot of information about The Mayans, with their crystal clear waters covered with lilies floating on the surface and their abundant flora around them, have been eternal witnesses of the greatness of this place.
