The Cenote of San Ignacio or it is also called Tuunich Ha, in Mayan it means “Water in the stone”, this beautiful strong>cenote is sheltered inside a cave, it is very safe to swim and cool off.
Upon entering you will go down some wooden stairs where they will take you to its refreshing waters. You will be able to appreciate the stalactite formations that surround the entire vault, a hole found on one side filters the sunlight, illuminating the crystalline turquoise blue water, allowing you to see the hundreds of fish that live there, since it is shallow and ideal for snorkeling, swimming or cooling off your feet, while taking in the majestic view.
