It is located 49 kilometers from the white city of Mérida, by the road Muna-Uxmal, it turns off at kilometer 39 on the right, towards the former Cacao hacienda. When you arrive at the former San Antonio Mulix hacienda, there you take a 2.3 kilometer dirt road to reach this cenote. You can enter with your vehicle or you also have the option of renting a bicycle, during the tour you can observe the fauna of the region, making you relax and enjoy a feeling of tranquility away from noise and stress.
At the entrance you will see that there is a palapa where there is a table and chairs, where you can rest a little and if I bring food there you can enjoy it comfortably, at one end there is a small house with two rooms where you can change to be more comfortable during the visit.
It is located right in a hollow that is not very deep, it is surrounded by stones and different plants, you can hear the melodious songs of the birds that are there, beautiful lilies and insects live on the surface. Being in front of its entrance you can admire the crystal clear water, through it see the fish and the cave that is located there.
When you enter you will feel the freshness of the water, which is ideal for the summer season, because it becomes a refuge from the stifling heat. It is recommended that you bring the necessary equipment since it is deep and supervise the little ones. In the cavern you can dive, swim and snorkel, feeling relaxed with the freshness of the water, making your visit an experience.
