In the heart of the Mayan jungle is the new Cenote Uayma-Ha, it is located 15 minutes from the municipality of Uayma, just 25 minutes from the Magic Town of Valladolid.
You must drive on the new road leaving the town, as you advance you will see a clay workshop, so you must continue advancing for about 3 kilometers entering the Mayan jungle, until you come across some gigantic stone letters that welcome you.
You can safely leave your vehicle on the sides of the road, when you enter the parador you will immediately see the ticket office, the changing rooms and the vests. The entire place is decorated and conditioned with materials provided by nature, so the environment created is completely natural.
The diameter of the cenote is approximately 80 meters, from the floor to the water mirror it is approximately 27 meters, it has a platform from where you can admire the entire cenote, to descend they have placed wooden stairs attached to the wall, where the roots of the Alamos accompany you all the way.
For the most adventurous, they have placed 3 different platforms at different heights so you can dive. These allow you to admire some sunken trees at the bottom of the water, which when the sun hits them stand out within the blue tones of the water.
It has wooden stairs that go down to the water mirror of the cenote with incredible blue tones, as you go down you will be able to see a tree that is submerged in the cenote and some of its roots reach the walls, you will also be able to see which has several platforms to dive.
Very close to the water, a large platform has been set up, quite large and wide, with wooden stairs that will allow you to access the fresh waters of this sacred cenote.
The cenote has a diameter of about 80 meters so it is quite large for swimming and has a depth of about 27 meters, so you can take advantage of all platforms to take a dive or simply relax in its crystal clear waters. It is worth mentioning that its owners have made an effort to use materials from the region for the construction of the facilities with the aim of preserving a natural and ecological environment to the greatest extent possible.
