One of the cenotes that is located just after entering the town of Homún is the Cenote Tza Ujun Kat which means "Sound of mud", it is very easy to locate since it is located right behind the Cenotes restaurant which is right in the corner.

It is located right at the bottom of the alley in a wide esplanade where there is a stone office on the floor, through which some swallows playfully come and go through it. The entrance to the cenote is on one side, an entrance with a gate welcomes you, to go down its wooden stairs as they are a little steep, they have ropes placed so that you can hold on at all times as well as railings on the sides.

You will enter through a narrow stone hole since this cenote is a cavern type, however, it does not take long and the vault opens, revealing all the beauty of the place. Like few cenotes, this one has enough space to walk through, in the central part and just below the hole they have placed a large curb where a large ceibo is growing.

The ceiling, walls and floor are riddled with rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites can be seen everywhere. The shape of the cenote is in a semi-circle and it is not very deep so it is very safe, however, it is recommended to use a life jacket at all times. The color of its waters varies depending on how much light enters since its waters are so crystalline that they reflect the predominant tone, for example, they can look blue or green.
